At Empower Fitness & Performance we are dedicated to our overarching mission, which is summed up in one simple statement: "Changing Lives Through Health & Fitness." The purpose of this blog is to help support that mission by putting out quality content and information that will benefit our clients, our community, and anyone around the world who should happen to find and read it. Our goal is to make our blog an education tool and resource - a place for questions & answers related to the topics discussed and a source of quality information you can trust. Contributors will be individuals in the top of their field, highly educated & experienced, and vetted so you the reader can be confident in the source of the information being presented. You may not always agree with or believe the ideas or information being put out (healthy debate is a requisite for progress), but what we want to ensure is that the content is based on science, the best evidence in the literature, and the best practices among the various disciplines we cross into: physical therapy, athletic training, strength & conditioning, sports performance, etc.
